I met a guy this weekend who has a 12m Link and doesn't have the red bridle mod. Is there anyone out there who has one lying around?

The best place to start looking would be your local Slingshot dealer. They were giving the Red bridles away so there was no cost involved to my knowledge.
Failing that, contact Dave Sorrensen (sorse) or Andy Reagan of Slingshot Australia.
I'd be very surprised if anyone has a red bridle just "laying around", spare Link kites just laying around are highly likely, but a spare red bridle, I doubt it.
