The joke seems to be getting old. Whenever a topic comes up that appears to be spcific to a particular state.

Really does it piss off the Victorian's, South Australians, Queenslanders, Northern Territorians and Tazzi people that much because most the the dribble is about WA?

I didn't worry about mentioning NSW or ACT people because they dont really matter anyway.

Many moons ago it seemed the vast majority of seabreezers were from WA. The whole site used to be a WA section.

Also, what's an ACT?

Every post would then go into this section and we'd be right back in the same state by state territorial dispute problem again...oh part from the ACT of course.

on a more serious note....aaaaaahhhhh...(sang a B flat if you wanted to know)

The international forum has posts on gear, safety, places to kite, all the usual customer whining posts...the whole damn lot from people all over the globe on one platform!...just saying..

Personally I like reading stuff that 'no-one should give a toss' about from every state, every country...don't care as long as it is about kiting and

NOT FARQING SHARKS!!

WA posts in general section is the equivalent of inbox spam. Irrelevant and it makes the forum less meaningful to the average user who may be international or outer state.

Do you enjoy receiving irrelevant spam?

Sounds like we need to have some sort of state vs state comp
Winner takes bragging rights for a year !!
Each state holds the comp a year or hold the comp over seas (neutral turf)

It's just that the website is West Australian born and bred. See how W.A is the top section on the weather? Any cameras showing anything but W.A ?
It seems fair for the locals to post where ever they like. Just sayin.....

Time to zip up the door on the Asbestos TeePee !

Abolish the state forums given that the WA crew can't file local issues there.

Eppo contributes half of the WA posts, so when will there be an Eppo section for him to ignore?

That was a little harsh Eppo... Just mucking around!

Its interesting this point of argument, its seems to some. I don't really care either way. I kind of like reading about things going on in Victoria and Queensland. I read the General section first, then go to the WA section. Lets just see how much spam we are talking about, here is today's forum activity:

Vic: 5 threads today
Tas: No threads today, or yesterday
SA: No threads today
QLD: 2 threads today
NSW: 1 thread since 15th Feb
WA: 4 threads today

General: 14 threads today, 3 about WA, 1 about QLD.

So if all the state threads were added to General, it would be 14+12=26 threads today. Can I quickly scan 26 threads in a day and choose what to read, yes I can. Does the thread activity above on a state by state basis warrant separate forums, I'm not sure, but it works the way it is. Can we move on?

But my bottom line has to be: Its fine, relax, lets just be a supportive community. The level of animosity is remarkable.

^agree with both these guys and like Jim I do enjoy reading anything from anywhere. Even New Zealand, South Africa and the UK

Not sure I really take much notice from where something is originating (until now). I even like the childish banter sometimes. Or when someone flies of the handle.. cheap entertainment!

Seems to mainly be guys from Melbourne who have the problem. Not sure whats going on there? Maybe too much influence from the Greens

I'd swear we're all ripe for a Seabreeze Kite Off Event or something, but where's a "neautral" beach? Kangaroo Island?

You realise you have replaced W.A. with "who gives a toss". Couldn't have put it better myself.

Shouldn't this be in the 'who give a toss' section

Shouldn't this be in the 'WA' section
