After watching that little clip about bars and lines. Karolina mentioned 20m lines produce more slack.
I got a new bar to cut into a mini bar. It's quite short now but still turns faster then I want because it has 20m lines.
My question is, how much extra slack dose shorter lines have, because honestly I haven't noticed. And why would it give you more slack? Maybe because it can rich through the window faster?
I might put the longer lines on my freestyle bar and put the shorter lines on a looping bar.
Yes they slack more and they slack faster. Reason being (I have been told) is that the distance that the load travels up the lines is shorter and therefore the kite loads up and releases quicker. I find that the sweet spot for looping and freestyle is 22m but it's all preference. Shorter lines are great for pop and slack in perfect conditions but when it's gusty it really sucks. I find my Hifis work better on 20s so that's how I ride them.

Thank you friend. That dose make sense, i might just have to fly back to back with different lines and find what works best.
I think it's not factually correct that "shorter lines produce more slack".
In my opinion shorter lines let the kite drive faster and quicker out of the window, making getting slack easier as it requires less load to drive the kite to the side of the window where there's less pull (where it's easiest to pass).
However, IMO longer lines get more slack, as once the kite has been surged to the side of the window there's more length of line to get slack with. Think of a short line or a long line at cable off a kicker... which gets "more slack"???.
People are confusing two different things.
