Not sure if this has been covered yet but I discovered it a few days ago and have tried it a few times and it works every time. 10m SB2 25knots

1. Start with the usual "flip land" i.e. fly kite to edge of window with wingtip almost touching.
2. Reach forward and pull upper front line - this is where the switchblade doesn't behave like other kites and flip over - it floats up into the air in strong wind.
3. Just keep pulling the front line in as though it were a 5th line. The kite keeps floating up a bit then flips over upside down like a kite with a 5th line does - just at a bit of an angle and then goes slowly to ground and just sits there.
4. Walk along the line and grab the kite.

In my opinion way nicer than flagging to back line which sometimes results in loops and also no tangled lines. I do have my leash attached to the back line just in case.

That sounds similar to the technique demoed in this vid.

Yeah, and not necessarily just for SBs. I tried it out the other day in light air with my Ozone Instinct, which is also a five-line bow, and it seems to work quite well. Haven't tried it in a real breeze yet though.

Used the technique shown in the Vid today on my 11m Rev in 20 knots and worked an absolute treat. Add another to the growing list of kites that this technique works for.
