A few crew at my local, including myself, have been having trouble with the seaweed this year.
The banks are the best in the area the weed tends to gather unfortunately.
Sometimes it's thick but mainly it's small ribbon weed and within a minute it clogs around your fins,
making it feel like your kiting with the hand brake on. It also makes you slide and have no real direction control.
I have done a search, here and online, and I can only find the problem addressed by windsurfers of which the fin setup is different to a normal surfboard.
Jankie from Balikitesurf posted a photo of a set he made on kiteforum.
Does anyone know who makes a suitable fin with the correct rake to release the weed?
I ride a thruster with a fsc system.

Thanks in advance

FCS fins catch that seagrass by design. Try Future Fins. Or get some sesame oil and harvest that sea grass to make Japanese seaweed salad.
