Just got in from a session and for the last half hour had the water police and helicopter patrolling up and back from Scarborough amphitheater almost to Trigg, anyone know what's going on?
I was approached by the police after finishing my downwinder at Contacio at about 6ish. Someone staying at Rendezvous saw a white kite (I have a white kite) go down way out the back of Contacio and apparently didnt get it back up, or looked in trouble so called the police.
They were hoping it was me, unfortunately not. Perhaps they brought in the chopper to search (?).
Unfortunately I was late for a birthday, and with the missus waiting for me at home I had no time to get on here to report and let the kiter (who had hopefully made it home ok) know he was being searched for...
Hope he did make it home ok.
Police spoke to me and said reports of a kiter in difficulty at scarborough. 3 divvy vans, 1 patrol car, 1 unmarked car, 1 chopper and 1 police boat.
