hey not sure whether there would be many but is there any other guys going up to goldcoast for schoolies? my mate and i will be on broadbeach mostly and would be good to see some other kites.
Just another thing is there any other things we should know about b4 kiting there or just obey the normal stuff?
i wouldnt waste my time kiting on schoolies... FAR FAR better things to do than kite haha..

schoolies is like the one time in ur life where u can be woken up with jaager bombs or tequila shots, be fed a beer funnel for breakfast to get ur heart pumping so you can go take advantage of many many young girls that are going to be behaving in the loosest fasion they ever have...

yer hell i was just down the road from margaret river and didt even bother making time for a bit of shark biscuiting.. not nearly enough time for that between funnels and cheap dinners
couldnt afford to go to the goldy so i decided to do 1 better ang out with a bunch of old farts at mambo
hahahaha i don't think you will be in any shape to kite during schoolies. I was up there during UNI games and only managed to get 1 day where i felt well enough to go for a kite.
Becareful mate,, the beaches pack out massive during schoolies, so finding a safe rigging area will be very hard. And even if you manage to find one, please keep a good lookout for the people walking up and down the beach working off the hangover.

cheers for the advice, i have this image of perfect kiting weather all day every day
(we are staying for the full 2 weeks), but i agree that we won't be in a state to enjoy it, lex- that was the one thing i was concerned about, 1000's of hung over teenagers would not be fun to dodge
Why would you wanna kite the goldcoast anyway?
p.s. How are these other children going to save money by going to mambo instead? After fuel, food, alcohol, accommodation, entry fee, I'm pretty sure it would actually be cheaper to go to schoolies.
