Scarborough Beach Kiters Meeting
You may have heard about it at the WAKSA AGM in April or on the thread that is currently running on Seabreeze. Both places have recorded concerns from kiters who like to call Scarborough (and in particular Brighton) home. The concern centres around the perceived likelihood that Scarborough will be the next point of focus from authorities questioning the actions and rights of kiters operating in the area.

From previous experience we have found that pro-active moves are far more effective and certain to get a favourable response when things do turn bad so WAKSA welcomes the opportunity of supporting this pro-active move by local kiters. We hope to have reps from the SLSC attending as well.

A meeting of all concerned kiters will be called at the conclusion of Sundays downwinder. If you intend to come along for the meeting alone we suggest you get down to the grass area off the Brighton carpark at about 6:00 pm. We will start the meeting when all participating kiters are checked in - but not before 6:00

All interested kiters are urged to attend.
You do not have to be a WAKSA member for this one.

Bump

Don't forget this is on this afternoon guys!

With the recent update on Mullaloo I believe it is very important we all start to acknowledge the issues and start the ball rolling...

Hope to see everyone down there, with plenty of wind

Thanks
Matt
