Woodies on a SE is not good - its possible but tends to be very gusty/variable.
If you are desperate then its definately beach 1 or beach 2 only as they are roughly X-on. The north side is totally unworkable except at the very end of the spit which is then way too dangerous as its X-off straight out to sea
Possibly Safety Bay or Mandurah estuary but Im only guessing
The river has to be East or NE - hopeless on SE.

Yep to jjd.
Sorry I was referring only to my haunts on the south side - the spit, Attadale & Melville.

btw (talking bout the river) ...
The Attadale issue has been fully sussed by WAKSA. Definately no use of the foreshore AT ALL from the fence at Page Rd east to the windsurf carpark. Thats all marine/nature reserve. Full details on WAKSA website shortly.
