We are throwing a grom comp this weekend, Currimundi Lake, rego on the day between 9 and 10am at currimundi creek mouth north side. Rider briefing @ 10:20. Divisions Under 18 (17years and under) Under 16, and Under 14. Disciplines wave, freestyle, and race. There are loads of prizes up for grabs thanks to support from all our sponsors, helpers and supporters. SEQKA, Blackboards, Ozone, Hive, Dakine, Out The Back Surfboards, SolRx, Andy Yates Coaching and Kitethrills have all come together to make a prize pool worth over $2500 and $500 cash.
The Grom Comp will blend into a beach party at night with live music on the beach, bigscreen movies and more.

Just a heads up for all those groms out there who's parents or older siblings aren't cool enough to buy them alcohol to smuggle in. I will be doing trips to the bottleo all day and you can contact me buy asking Andy Yates the secret question which is "how do I send my kite like you?". After asking the secret question you will be given instructions to my location for transaction of goods.
ha ha haaa. nice one dave. spoke with tommy guns ryan today - he's pretty bummed at the thought of keahi owning him in the U18 (again). he wants the title sooo bad. And Tommy grom Mcgreggor reckons he's hot sheet for the U16. He and Adam we're down at Curras this arvo pushing each other. We have no idea who else might show up - brisbane and goldy groms might dominate. he he he.

thanks to mike for putting on the comp, was pretty fun and we were blessed with big swell and good wind, it was good that lots of people came down to watch in the end
