It's a great way to get involved in one of the fastest growing sports around the world and is aim at being a fun event, no matter what your level of experience and riding ability.
So whether ur just learning to jump or throwing down some huge Kiteloops or S-bends get on down, enter and have some fun at what is going to be great weekend. Just watching the likes of Martyn Bone (the current State champ), Benny Windings (former state champ), and a host of new up-and-coming riders all looking to steal away the coveted crown will be worth the entry fee alone. It should be fantastic to watch.
This year we are running:

Amateurs (no unhooked/kiteloop tricks)
Masters (35+)
Grand Masters (45+)
And a Big Air / Expression Session (if the wind permits)
$50 entry gets you entry to the comp, a Competition T-Shirt, BBQ lunch both days, Pizza at the presentation night and a pick of the table at pressos! That's awesome value!
Sign up is from 10am on Saturday (or prior to the event online at www.SAKSA.com.au ) with briefing at 11:00am sharp (competitors MUST be there for this!!), with the competition kicking off when the wind comes in.
Thanks to all our sponsors (Blade, Xtreme Kites and Paddle, Onboard, Hype Nautic, Mastercraft, FSR Industries, Kiteboarding South Australia, Cabrinha, North, Naish, Dakine and Nova Vita ) who have really got behind us this year with a host of great prizes. There is even a BRAND NEW Blade kite up for grabs courtesy of Danny James at Blade as an encouragement award for an Amateur rider who gets out there and has a real crack and gives it their all. This will be decided by Danny himself so you could be a first time competitor, even a first year rider and you could be walking away with a new rig! How awesome is that! So get on board, have a go and you're gonna walk away with SOMETHING sweeet!
The Grange Sailing Club club rooms will be open to the public which provides a great platform to watch all the action on the water. So bring down all your family and friends for some cool tunes, some muppet style hilarity by our two MC's and to watch one of the most exciting new sports going around, for what should be an action packed, fun weekend on and off the water.
