Anyone heading out for a kite this week? I'm a beginner and would feel more comfortable kiting if someone else was in the vicinity incase I have any troubles...

Where is the usual place for the local kiters to go? I've seen a few at Farnborough but its a bit choppy and I struggle to get up on the board as it is without the waves smashing me...
Wind should be good this weekend hopefully, I'll be at Mulambin Beach on a naish kite if you're around, come say hey!

farnbrough is the best spot. theres a shower and bathroom plenty parking. just stay away from those rocks and youll be fine. most people kite infont of the yacht club but i think in the 8 months or so i was kiteing there, there was never a reason to kite there over farnbrough. people just kite there because they like showing off to the public. which is great. but as a beginer you cop alot of turbulant air from the building/rock wall and allso possibly injure yourself on them and allso on swimmers and boat users.
if you dont like the chop THAT much theres another spot that was less choppy but far more secluded. cant quite remember the name of the beach tho.... zilzie? i would just go to farnbrough infront of the playground / toilets etc tho.
