I saw this on ebay just browsing.
It's a brilliant idea.http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Restube-life-saver-for-all-watersports-users-/222154575492?hash=item33b971ce84:g:oH8AAOSw3xJVVX15
A bit pricey, and probably one could make one using those Co2 canisters that cyclists use.
But considering how scuba divers have a "safety-sausage" if they too get into trouble and drift out to sea, I reckon this sort of safety should be a minimum in kite surfing.
I think you've done yourself a disservice by saying everyone should get one. People don't like being told what to do, Better you said this idea has merit for those who aren't strong swimmers. (Bet you don't like me telling you what to do right haha)
And yes a safety sausage is an alternative and much cheaper, and do you really need to blow it instantly when you already have a whole kite full of inflatable tubes already right next to you?
could've just left that at go **** yourself
Nah , I liked that last bit Kozzie slipped in there ![]()

yeah sorry guys. I obviously chose the wrong tone there. safety for me is high up there, but yeah each to their own out there.
