So I just picked up a really good deal on a kiteboard - was cheap as, 2015 model etc etc but it has a few deepish scratches on the heelside edge I'd be keen to clean up, to almost have it looking brand new again.
Wondering if anybody has any good tricks? I am thinking I could get one of my snowboarding buddies to get some p-tex onto it?
Any other ideas?

Its a 2015 Cabrinha Custom........ I see that on the Cab website it says that the Custom CBL is a P-tex base, but I can't find any info on what the Custom base is made out of......
Anybody know?

If it is P-tex it will be like a foggy clear finish over the top of the graphics, kind of a waxy/plasticy feel to it.
Looks to me like its epoxy, but i haven't seen one in the flesh so I'm not 100%
Used araldite on my gambler for about 2-3cm long deep cut from the reef. Can hardly notice it on a cut that size.

Any chance the Araldite would react with P-tex? I don't want to destroy my board by starting some crazy chemical reaction!
Once I remember when I was about 14, we were mucking around filling an old surfboard with resin and the thing caught on fire!
I'm not familiar with p-Tex or any major board repairs, I know my gambler has a coating on it to help with hitting sliders and kickers not sure what it is but it hasn't reacted. My local dealer said to use araldite rather than any fancy expensive stuff.
Go and get some tubes of clear epoxy like Selleys, mix up a batch and spread it into the deep gouges, once it starts to set put a bit of spit on your finger and spread it flat, just use a different finger as it tastes ****. You can also use a Stanley blade and shave it down level with the board before goes too hard. A bit of fine water paper or brass polish and it will look good as new. Best is the clear epoxy for pools as the other stuff tends go yellow after a while.
