Hi All,
A friend of mine, new to kiting, has bought a 2010 Cab Switchy 10m on advice from some other friends. The one she ended up with (from the buy & sell) has the Pro Kit installed. I figure it's probably not the end of the world for her to learn with her leash attached to the ids handle (flagging line) but it is a bit of a PITA with it being above the trim strap.

I'm just wondering how hard it is to revert the bar setup back to the below the bar IDS system. Anyone know what is involved?

You need the bits that were removed when the pro kit was installed. ie chicken loop with ids pin, an ids ring, lines and swivel. Basically you take the grab handle above depowers off, replace swivel to attach to front lines. and other end of swivel has single line to depowers and ids line running back down to chicken loop. (pull through plastic tubing by pushing fishing line up from chicken loop end.) Grab a bar with ids installed to copy or reverse this install video.

Check line lengths after.

I've got a few spare swivels, drop me a pm if you like...The replacement of this swivel only is a real pain on 2009 model, probably the same on 2010. Btw. the chicken loop with ids pin is almost impossible to release for me with one hand, unusable:(
