When learning a Raley to blind or a Back to blind do you need to have one hand dead in the middle of the bar with your fingers going around the centre lines? My fingers keep getting chewed up by the center lines, and I would love to work out if I can avoid having to do this
PS: Im a girl so i dont need to harden up.
Cheers

nah not always. Make sure your kites aren't turning too fast, and your bar isnt too big. that helps. maybe even cut your bar down abit shorter so your kite doesnt turn as fast. maybe think about your bar pressure when you throw your tricks too. how you are pulling on your bar whilst you throw down.
i never do it either... you just get used to feeling your kite as you do the tricks and pulling in so you dont turn the kite, like nuts said all you got to do is pay a bit of attention to how you pulling the bar as you do the tricks, youl get it with a bit of practice
just a tip.. when i do stuff to blind i try to put more pressure on my index and middle finger than the pinky finger as i pull in on the bar.. kind of levels the kite out a bit during the trick. on the c 4 as well just move your back line connections to the middle setting or even furthest towards the kite if you can handle the bar pressure (not much at all on the heaviest setting)
