Just testing my new camera today. Took a while to upload the photos so not the result I wanted.

Thanks Tractorguy. This was the first of 8 shots on the wave so it does not show the whole sequence. I am interested that Ben drops the bar when turning onto the wave. I got some decent shots in half an hour. I have a 150-600mm Sigma lens and this was first effort on the water with.

Yeah, interesting ....

Maybe his hands were greasy at the time.

He released the bar and it went straight to the stopper knot ,,,

as he set-up and committed to the backside reo,

nicely trimming along the lip,

highlining for a moment,

before quickly retrieving the bar and taking control.

You can see from the angle of the strings and a little slackess in the lines,

that the kite is descending during this intentional/unintentional move.

All this would have taken 1.5 seconds in duration.

Nevertheless, the pics show nice u-turn vert bottom carve,

nice style with the grab thing,

generally nice.

Good job Ben.

It's called the strapless handless passless where less is more or less and that's no grab slave I was just cleaning my finger nails
