Im from Melbourne and planning a trip to Queensland next week leaving monday 1/3 until 12/3 to catch some of the expected wind from the developing cyclone.
Never kited in cyclone winds so looking for general advice, some recommendations about where to go looking anywhere between Mackay and the sunshine coast to get the best of what looks to be some pretty decent SE wind next week (looking for places with 25-35kt range but am unclear how reliable the predictions are).
Also looking for some advice on and what quiver to bring (have a 12,9 and 6 and im 90kg).
Was thinking about either hiring a camper van with a mate and follow the winds or basing ourselves somewhere for day trips.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hit elliot on those first few days and u will find it hard to leave 
Ur 12 and 9 will be sufficient....have fun!!!!
