Some of my kites have the F-one - Cabrinha black 2.5-3mm cord under the pulley's\sliders and they never wear out.

My other kites have the amsteel dyneema which bunches up, then snaps.
I have been using the red flecked mower starter cord from mitre 10 and it is better than the amsteel but I can see it will go too.
In any case other bits of amsteel need replacing on other kites and I only want to do it once so I need to find this cord.

I have quite a few kites to do, so I will need 30m or so.

I found some that looks to be right here

http://www.pksdistribution.com/proddetail.asp?prod=pks_3mm_pulley_bridle_line

but at around $10\m + postage, it's getting ridiculous.
If anyone could help out with a local or chinese supplier that would be awesome.

We stock the PKS bridle line if you want it Codered.

I would be looking more at the type of pulleys used more than the type of line though as they will more than likely be the culprit.

We have the black stuff from Cabrinha $6.50 per metre. Comes in a pack of 10m if you want bulk.

Cheers.

will call pronto.

Hey Brisbud, I have used ronstan pulleys before and they shrunk the line's of my SS rev's.
I'm pretty sure Ronstans are on all my current quiver, can you say Harkens are better and who has them?
Thanks for all the help guys, stoked.

Whitworths. Micro pulley I think. The same as the old rev needs to fix bridle twisting and then becoming too short then wont fly well. Google it n you'll find pictures of the right pulley. Easy fix.

Just go to a marine chandlers shop if there's one local.. Look up strength ratings - you'll figure out lines are overrated... Buy accordingly...

Wouldn't Q-Power line work just fine for bridle? It's really tough - and no sleeving required (but all knots you use must be figure of 8 knots to maintain strength). Get it online.
