Hi Guys,
Any idea how much it costs to post a board, how long it takes, and well if it will reach me in once piece.
vs.
Paying someone to fly with it overweight.
I know overweight will cost around $150 for the weight (connecting flight) so I am not too keen on this one.
Cheers
Wihan
Hi Wihan,
You may want to supply a few more details if you want constructive replies![]()
Where are you freighting to & from?
What size and type of board? e.g. twin tip or larger surfboard?
Can you have someone to pack the board properly for freighting?
You may also find info by searching seabreeze posts as this has been discussed previously.
Some time ago I freighted a large TT (166cm) from WA to SA.
Greyhound bus freight worked out to be the best option for my situation.
remember to get it labelled as "fragile" & "Top Load only" freight.

Thanks for the reply,
Twin tip with bindings 138
from NSW to QLD, Mackay
Will be packed.
Just wanted some rough ideas on how much it goes for $20, $100, $300?
Won't hold you to your quote ;-)
Should be around $40 - we do this kind of thing every day with twin tips and surfboards and (touch wood) haven't had a twin tip damaged in transit yet.
check out interparcel.com.au or see if you can find someone with some fastway or couriers please coupons to send it for you.
