Common question -
Want to go to Portugal next June/ July .
Have the wife and one kid, want to go somewhere decent ie stuff to do, top villa/ resort with friend from the uk, but also desperate to kite some decent waves, any ideas , ? I was thinking about the south coast but it maybe too much of a drive to kite the west side, somewhere near seagress maybe the mhartinal hotel / villa complex .
Anyone been there, how far is the nearest kiting or any other suggestions would be great please

I will be there about the same time next year, will be traveling for 9 months kiting while my wife works. Portugal does look awesome, so I would love to know as well. We will be there (my wife is running art workshops around Europe) until the 20th of July, and then head to San Sebastion for her birthday.
just north of portemaio is a place to kite waves and flat water ...faro and lagos has good waves

Albefero has waves and there is a very good seafood resterante in the small boat harbour... magic pora prawns
