Hi folks!
I'm making big plans to do a bit of a world trip next year, and in the second half of the year would like to spend 1-3 months in Fiji kiteboarding (the time we'll be there is pretty open ended right now). We'd be looking for a way to sustain ourselves cheaply overseas, so we can stay as long as possible. I'll be shipping over my own gear.
We'd be happy to work/volunteer for board / earn our keep, stay with families, babysit a house, etc. pretty flexible! So the two questions are... any ideas on places to stay cheaply or people I could contact?, and also what locations are good to kite in Fiji, or does that even matter?
the best place is a place called taveuni - go to www.moontours.com.au - fantastic people - 90 minute flight from Nadi - beautiful place without the commercialism of the mainland - we went on trip with moon tours - magic hosts - magic people and great interaction with the locals - Moon tours also organise boat in case wind direction blow us out to sea - i am going with them again next year as took all the stress out of the planning and they are great hosts
