Hey guys. I'm looking for a place to stay in Brisbane or GC area in november. From what I've read, Sandgate, Wello and Loders creek are the places to go to find a nice flat water spot, so preferably somewhere close to any of those spots. Any type of accommodation is of interest; hostel, hotel, a room in someones house, a couch, well you name it!
I'll be around from 18th of november to 4th of december. So if you know anyone or anywhere thats good, please let me know =) cheers!
Sandgate has the most room, massive open area. Bit brown but otherwise all good. Not much in the way of backpackers etc, there is a cheapish hotel/motel (the brighton) you could carry your gear to but it's not that nice.
Wello - more restricted, more tourists, some sharp shells, but payoff cleaner water. Don't know of any accom nearby.
Loders - Tight for space, lots of boats to watch for and poleys etc. I think there's a caravan park nearly across the road that might have on site cabins.
