Here are a couple of shots from a really nice day down at Woodies. A bit cold and pretty damn gusty but the riders were out there. Riders are Sci, Simon, Damo and unknown.http://photo.davespruce.se/woodies/
Enjoy, feel free to comment.
nice one Sprucey.. some good spray shots in there. didnt realize you guys got any kind of wave at woodies, looks like fun ![]()
Yeah I've never seen it like this before actually but yeah some nice rolling waves came through.. Rider unknown was hitting it hard, Wainman style:)
Dave considering the conditions you managed to capture some sick shots. Looking forward to flat side and a ladder ;)
This is loose!
It was all about the SPRAY JOBS!
I'm with GreenPat Sprucey. Probably those that featured in your shots won't agree, but I reckon that scenic shot is your best. Really good colours and depth. Worthy of a postcard in any newsagent.
Nice work.
its rushi,
and they are great shots. my only photes of myself kiting so i am very happy,
good work ..
maybe pushed the unsharp mask a bit far, got some ghosting happening there. I like the composition on the scenery shot, but the oversaturation (HDR maybe to) has washed out some of the rock detail.
Maybe set your camera up for a different auto focus point so you can off center the subject of your kiting images. division of thirds is a brilliant composition tecnique and when you know what direction the kiter will be moving in using it will make the shots much more dynamic.
Sorry for being such a critic.
Its the chemical ,industrial background that rearlly makes the shot for me.a breath of fresh air..luv it boyzee.

Its true backdrop and location can add so much to a shot. Me and Sprucey have been discussing how to get some fresh perspective on the scene. Expect to see lots more soon.
