http://www.seaspecs.com/html/FAQ.html

If anyone has these water sports glasses will you please let me know if the supplier did a good job of the prescription. I was thinking of getting multifocal / progressive lens.

Also would like to know how they perform in the water. Comfort, fogging, water repellency. Looks like they don't float so I guess I would need a float or a little leash.

Are there other better brands who supply optical prescription lenses.

Eventually found more info using the search engine for this forum. Topic reasonably well covered. Oakley sea dogs were mentioned as an alternative.

I bought them. They arrived within 10 days of my order.

Quality was great, Prescription was spot on and it was shipped by courier. Well worth it and highly recommended. I was also told my prescription didn't allow for Oakley's and Seaspecs were still able to do the job.

I'm even contemplating buying another lighter pair for more overcast days.

They do float btw and I haven't had too many issues with fogging but you can use motorcycle defog mixture if its a major issue.

The ones for overcast days are great.

As for fogging, it does happen, the oil from your skin and sunscreen are the biggest causes. Wipe them on your wet rashy to remove the worst of it, or just dunk your face on occassion to get the focus back.

The fit will depend greatly on the shape of your bollard, but you can take the wings off and fit them upside down for an alternate fit. You could probably heat the frame and shape it if you're game enough.

They stay put, when done up tight enough, on even the roughest face-plant.

I cant comment on the prescription lenses, but I have a regular pair of sea specs and find they stay on just fine. They can fog up though.
I got them to send me out a pair of the non polarized lenses as well. I find these better for judging where the surface of the water is when landing a jump. Generally good service all round.
I have seen very similar sunnies on ebay for only $20, but don't know of the quality.
