This may be a bit of an open question as I am sure every one has their own tastes but I need to get new boots soon and I am weighing up my options, i currently ride with Liquid Force Synergy boots which have done me 2 seasons. So far my short list is:
Liquid Force Raph
Liquid Force Shane
Ronix One
Humanoid Odyssey
I am especially keen to hear if anyone has experience with the humanoid boots as they look good and are well priced.
Any thoughts on the above much appreciated.
Love my Shanes on my wakeboard. Don't know how long they'd last kiting. I suspect Raphs would be the best lace up LF's for kiting.
Mates got a set of 2015 Raphs with 6 mths kiting, still look new!
Thanks for the tips, I might go the Raph. They look tough and I would prefer dual lace this time as opposed to lace and strap.
Is it just me or do the Liquid Force LFK look like they would not hold up to much abuse? In fact most of the kite specific boots look like they will not last very long.
I ride humanoid howls. I love them. Others hate them. On the humanoid boots they have those teeth and if you pull an insert like I do often you loose the teeth. Then you need to try track them down, and it's impossible to find them in Oz.
Apparently Humanoid are soggy pieces of S***!
Haven’t tried them though
Odyssey is no more soggy than a pair of Ronix or LF bindings.
Sweet well based on the above I might take a punt on a pair of humanoids, I am over the mounting system on lf bindings I have ground all the teeth off the spacers on my current set from catching edges. I reckon there has gotta be a better way of attaching boots to boards and the humanoid system looks quite interesting.
Liquid Force Ultras last better than any other in my experience. I've got a pair on each board. 3 days a week at cable at they hardly show any wear after more than a year.

Ultras do last pretty well.
