Hey guys,

Im after an old bar (any brand - doesnt have to be functional really) that anyone wants to give away or sell for a small price?

I want to hang it at home and work on simple freestyle moves. Feedback if this is worked pro or against your progression from anyone who has done that before would be great.

And yes, nothing can replace the real "water" thing, but practice is better than sitting in the couch.

Thanks in advance.

Kristin Boese uses and recommends this technique in her instructional video....but mainly to practice board offs

Always wanted to do this but have never had a tree close by to hang from.

Don't set it up too high Jen, in her video she is standing straight up on the board hooked in with bar and lines taut but only lifting her lower body.

u shouldn't need a proper kite bar just something comfortable, but i guess whatever is easiest.

IMO it would only help ur progression

Thanks a lot Gilly, do have a tree at home, so would set it up there.

I'll also check Kristin Boese's videos, thanks for the tip!

I have an old Airrush Bar which i just threw into the trash last night. If i remember, I'll fish it out tonight. You're welcome to it. I'm based in Fremantle.

And now it is!

I'd advise getting a trampoline Jenna and using in conjunction with the bar

That's exactly what I got told today from a mate who did the same. Even using those half balls from the gym where you can have certain height. Thanks PirateDunk for the bar!!!!
