Insane madness, it's going to end a different way for someone else. Taking kiting to a whole new level of danger. It would have been good to hear what the plan B backup plan was? Parachute?

paraglider here. this is hilariously **** and all the hype its getting makes me cringe so hard. nothing but disgust over this.

im trying to get into parakiting as in paraglider alpine harness large foil kite or speedwing board reserves etc

**** like this just pushes that back that much further.

if jesse "if i wasnt a kiter i would be a pilot" richman actualy had his pilots licence he should have lost it that day. flying an unrated wing in public the tow operater should of lost his tow endorsement and icence etc the whole thing is pretty disgusting.

but bottom line is its amazeingly **** its in no way awe inspireing imprevious technical nothing its **** embaressing and pathetic.

anyways what can you do. i would love to see how 790ft is the record BTW as people have kited off the peaks of much higher mountains and glided down. ON KITES with no reserves or varios etc. not to mention under there own power.

... there is a backup plan hes got a reserve chute infront of him.

the funny thing is reserve chutes are literally useless below a certain height. i would have to scan threw the hgfa ops manual to double check but i know theres no point in me having a reserve chute when im flying around rainbow beach ridge soaring because by time i get it thrown etc itll be to late. actually deploying it is more dangerous then not and i fly at around 4000ft there.

some how i think they forgot to mention that to little jesse hahahaha. or that if his harness had an airbag and it inflated he would of had a 99% chance of drowning as the inflated airbag on the seat and back of his harness floats forceing him face down into the water with his weight on the buckles of the harness makeing them nearly impossible to open.

im assumeing his friend who does the towing knows this and maybe disabled the airbag but still..... some idiots watch this probably wont.

if he goes back up there and does a few infinity tumbles ill take my hat off and eat it. untill then its just a tin of generic savings stupids smotherd in lame sauce

paragliding is ..... you ARE just trying to make me angry. you know damn well what the difference is.

hate to tell you this but people have been "kiteing" paraglider wings and draging themselves over the sand dunes years before "kitesurfing" started. the only way to keep them seperate would be to eradicate kitesurfing from existance.

there is nothing personal about a series of the ol on offs matey. even the lightbulbs had a bit of a warming feeling but now adays its just data. an endless stream of mind numbing data
