Pretty big news. Would have been interesting to think what the duotone boys are thinking...

North Technology Group (NTG) has today announced it will make a further significant investment in its watersports business - proudly announcing the combination of Mystic B.V with North Kiteboarding under a new part of NTG called - North Actionsports Group.
Oh well. There goes Len10's epic jumps down by about .. hmmm 10 meters from his average.
North/Dutone - fast becoming the McDonalds of kite gear
Great to see WA's Action Sports guys get a favourable mention. Hopefully by stealing their name they will look after them with cheap wholesale prices!!
Would of assumed action sports wouldn't go near north seen as they have stuck with dildo tone ? The 3 colour kites.
Shops could stock dildo tone and north concurrently, they are after all separate entities now.
dildo tone... classic man. ![]()

Not likely, he just joined ozone.![]()
ozone have been very sleepy on the diva riders scene, prefering a more localised group of riders and tbh very reserved in the way they promote themselves in videos etc compared to many brands, interesting to see rio stevens and kai lenny riding ozones as their main kites, but with little promotion of the fact compared to others, nick jacobsen will be a great addition to north kites both as a rnd and face of the brand, seem to be a mass movement from cabrinah to the new north sticker

Should i be putting out my hand for some new north kites I wanna knock lostatsea off the top of the leaderboard in Australia ?
I was looking at the ozone's on the premis that I could get the company logo on them but it turns out It's almost the same price as the kite.
Currently on a 2 kite quiver 10m or 18m lol both north. So will probably hold out now for the release of the new north kites I've been loyal to them since the beginning. Then set some pbs in the fun winter fronts. Although getting out kiting everyday has been great this season it's just not the same as them 35/40 knot days with cold punchy wind.
Look, I cannot speak for myself as I am still learning a lot of techniques, but the kite (other than the right wind conditions), is not what makes you jump high. It's all in your technique and your weight. I've seen locals here jump over 10 meters on puny 9m kites in winds below 17knots.
