when you can sell me the new ROPE HARNESS KIT - cheershttps://www.northkiteboarding.com/products/bars/trust-bar/
thank you in advance
Should be in stores in about 3 weeks, have just checked an older 2010 and 2013 North Iron Heart and they are compatable with the older bars.
I know with north bars you can change the amount of throw on the bar by adjusting where the trim is. How much can this be changed?
I have been rocking a custom bar where I took the Little nobby bit Off my naish bar so now when I sheet out the bar goes right up to where the swivel is( above bar swivel below bar trim) . I also made an extra small chicken loop so it is an easy reach. Since I have been using this I haven't needed to touch the trim at all so I had been thinking for my next bar I would make one with no trim. Would it be easy to do this to a north bar or would adjusting the bar to the maximum amount of throw give me a similar set up?
I am currently using slingshoot bar with a small chicken look. I don't use the trim any more. I can reach the swivel. I want the same for my North bar. also I have made my own chicken loop and bar using bits from older bar to reach the same results but they are old parts. I don't like the extra trim rope in front of my view. Being able to depower just by raising the bar or letting go of the bar is a Game Changer.... cheers

i have just measured an older bar, 2017 so you can have a maximum of 58cm bar throw with no trim, because it operates on a closed fixed loop system the throw/trim can be set anywhere within that 58cm length typically they ship with 2/3 bar throw 1/3 trim, you can gain an extra 3 cm throw by removing the stopper.
We have a 2018 trust bar with a freeride (short loop) which changes the overall chicken loop length from 23cm to 20.5cm./
The trim allows you to set the sweetspot for the kite in varying conditions, too much trim (cleat set too low) and you constantly have to play with the trim especially in gusty winds. Too little trim (cleat set too high) and you are constantly having to let the bar go beyond your natural arm length.
The click Bar give you 18cm of trim on the back lines via the click mechanism (conveniently situated at the end of the bar) plus 48 cm of bar travel
