So I had a little encounter with a rock on my first tac out and knocked two fins out.

Looking to get new fins but I have no idea what to get, I ride in small/mediam waves (mostly Bay slop and the odd surf) and I like a Quad set-up.

Board is 5'10 2011 North Wam and I'm 80kgs if you need that info.

The fins I lost were a 4.5 inch front and a 4 inch back, should I just replace them with the same ones?

I don't know really anything about the different fins so any advise will be appreciated, cheers.

... mate of mine did the same and got some Scarfini FX-2 quad set which worked well, he liked them.

Not a bad price too!

Having said that, original ones are good too and it appears the originals are made of some kinda softer glass or something, not sure how or what it is but the good thing is if you hit the ground they have less chance to break the fin boxex, as they just break out! I've tried different fins and performance wise the original fins seem to still work the best!

cheers,

Robbie

I run Simon Andersons large in mine and works well. That will probably be too big for you though as Im heavier (95).

Go have a chat to your local surf shop - a real one. They should be able to help out. Theres a massive amount of options.
