North Queensland Odyssey

Lost and found flick - we are finally releasing our little film that we produced back in 2009 starring Andy Yates.

North Queensland ODYSSEY - Andy Yates visited us in North Queensland in May 2009 to ride NQ's top 3 spots. Filmed (average camera gear and amateur filming) in Alva Beach, Lizard Island & Rattlesnake Island.

It was a crazy trip travelling over 4000km by Cessna, car and boat visiting some amazing spots and riding all week.
On our way to Lizard we got in a storm on our little 6 seater plane over the GBR and we lost orientation and had to turn around. It was pretty scary.
We also lost a prop on the boat on our way back from Rattlesnake due to the chicks not securing the anchor properly, it went straight into the prop under full throttle doing 30knts, resulting in 80k damage to the boat. Again we were stuck this time out in the ocean, floating around just in front of Palm Island while the sun was setting.

However, it was a fun and exciting trip.

Over the week Andy showed us some very impressive riding and was landing everything. Amazing to see him busting out for hours without crashing once.
