Hello. I am 30 years old skinny guy 188 high with 68 kg. I want to learn kitesurfen. I know how to snowbpard. Not good but it's norm. In my country there is no any kitesurfing school, it's not popular atopt in here. So I decided to buy stuff and start to learn by my self by YouTube viseos. But I don't know what year I have to buy I mean size of kite , size of bar and size of kiteboard. I want to try first so i don't want to pay more and plus I don't need professional gear. Which model or size do u suggest me to buy. Last time there was Naish kite 18qm and it sold for 110 ?. Or I have to buy smaller kite for example 11 qm or I don't know. Please tell me how to choose gear for kitesurfing. And what is normal price for used gear. Ror example for used kite or used kiteboard. Or bar
From your spelling I assume you live in Western Australia? Is there any other kiters within a short drive you could talk to or get tips from in Western Australia?
Did you just try to contact me asking to help transfer $43, 500,000usd for which you'd pay me 10% of the value in bitcoin..?
Your email said you were based in Spain but now living in australia.
Why won't you respond to my emails..?
Where to start its complicated! Go to Rose bay and look for big guy with bald head.
Really you need to buy at least one lesson first. This will give you more insight to the sport. your page is too blank at the moment for us to fill in the gaps!
It's more of a chunky guys sport
Just take up kitesurfing and you'll be chunky and unfit in no time!!

Hi Elyman
Buying gear and giving it a go without any first hand instruction is just suicidal, and could seriously injure or even kill you. At best you probably will be scared off completely. There are many factors influencing what gear you should buy but I would highly recommend is you endeavour to get any first hand instruction or lessons that you can, as this will keep you safe and inform you about what gear is appropriate in your local conditions.
If there are people selling kites in your area then there are logically kiters and they would possibly help you along.

Ask the chick in das pic?
you have a few options, safest would be to go to Danmark or Nederland and buy a few lessons, always windy and better learning curve
Second, you could buy a trainer kite, 2.5m or so and practice in a field for a bit based on YouTube vids.
last option would be to buy a large inflatable kite, a harness, a bar, a board, a safety leash, a helmet and a pump and try to learn that way
the last option is by far the most dangerous so you could probably drop the helmet
Buy a 16m kite with 45m lines. As you are learning on the cheap don't worry about a harness and just tie the chicken loop to your neck with some fishing line. Tie your leg to solid object so you don't fly away. Get your mother to hold the kite directly down wind of you and throw it up.
Remeber to have fun.
Mate as you've discovered, seabreeze is full of cock ends
