Anyone else having trouble getting orders from the Australian distributor? Seems he is not at all interested in filling orders. A friend has been waiting since March for a board. It was promised before Christmas. He finds out today that it is still sitting in Belgium. I'm waiting on fins for an NHP. Hopefully they will arrive before the board wears out.
Nobile need to find someone who is actually interested in not only customer service, but representing the Nobile brand.

Sounds strange. There is stock in Aus of all the 2014 boards as far as I'm aware.

Just about all the locals here ride them and we get them from briskites. Any broken ones are replaced under warranty and straps pads and fins are all easy to get. Best board I have had and I've tried plenty.

The 2014 Nobile Boards arrived quite late in the season this year, literally only becoming available in the last 3-4 weeks, and it was something beyond the control of the distributor.
Anyway everything is available now, we have some 2014 boards in stock if there is something you want just let me know.

Agreed Nobile are a right pain to deal with. The distributor does not return calls at all, whereas Nobile direct are full of promises but don't deliver.
Good boards but lousy customer service. I don't think they are that interested in Australian sales. If someone has that amount of trouble trying to buy a board, how would you possibly resolve a warranty issue?

The problem is that most of what you have read in this thread is a bit distorted, the distributor always returns my calls. As Briskites and I have pointed out the boards and accessories are available right now. The new distributor has 1 dealer in Sydney, which is Kitepower. There seemed to be some confusion about that with a couple of customers, but thats all sorted now. Supply of certain models has been limited, and the entire range was delivered late to dealers across the world, compared to other brands, but again thats all sorted now.
Nobile changed distribution in Australia 2 years ago, the new distributor at the time was moving his life to Australia, but that process is now complete and he is living here now and we are getting very good service.
Warranty in Australia rests with the retailer. Nobile warranty is excellent.

You have sole rights to Nobile in Sydney? With no competition? I bet no one gets a great deal there then.
Imagine if all businesses could get sole rights to sell a particular brand or product. How does one negotiate such a deal?

Customers walk right in and ask for a deal mate its just that simple. All members of AKSA/NSWKBA get a 10% discount just as an example. And Kitepower does not have sole rights for Sydney, but we do have sole right in our area, which is Southern Sydney, we have been selling Nobile for several years.
It is very common in business for a distributor to stick with dealers that have supported them.

So bastien lost the rights for nobile to the new zealand competition? Ive been out of the loop for some time.
Nobile make the best boards ive ever ridden, but theres always exceptions
1) NHP 2009 and beyond, great for everything
2) 2HD for riding fast with massive freestyle capabilities
3) Shinn Monk, 2009 with King Kong on the back.
4) Nobile 50/50 boots wakestyle, yet sick in the waves due to its length and flexibility.
5) Xenon Infra, a pure wakestyle board, yet it handles chop, and is so light its awesome for big air.

Bastien was awesome to deal with, bitch about N th, if you want no customer service.
Ill buy a 2009-10 NHP anytime, go a Hyme Pro and delam it, see what happens

@Strungout - Cowardly words, hiding behind a fake name. Check KP's prices, they are not inflated. Kitepower is not a distributor for Nobile boards, we are a retailer, that has backed the brand for several years in Sydney with excellent prices and service.

@dave.... No Bastien is the new distributor, and now that he is based here in Australia is doing a great job.

Haha you obvious have not worked in a sales business .. Heaps of specialty engineering equipment ie pumps, compressors, motors, valves, ball mills, risers, filters etc etc all have sole distribution in aus. It's the different brands that creates the best deal, tailoring a product to a consumers need.. Unfortunately with products like this that are not mass produced incur higher production costs and therefore are more expensive. If they sold it to every shop as a dealer it would simply drive the price down and the manufacture wouldn't make there set targets etc..

Its obviously the big dealers like KP, Bris and KR that give him a good return that get return calls....
i gave up chasing parts on boards etc that my customers wanted.

We all have to start somewhere, not all of us get everything handed to us on a silver plater..

Too harsh..? haha
