wow . I was there last monday, no wind but the beach looked really good. must have some stray pigs escape during the week.
Was down there from 9am until 1pm yesterday and it was fricken chaos!

Have never seen conditions like that before with huge swell, high winds, MASSIVE strong rips and soooo many idiots.
Poor SLSC clubbies were recuing dozens of people at once (sirens blaring - the whole shebang) only to have dozens that had just witnessed the debarcle clamber into the same full on rip and be resued moments later.. then again.. again and again.

Never ceases to amaze me at the beach when people will leave their ** in a pile when there is a bin a couple of mtrs away.

This was not isolated. Cottesloe was possibly worse than this.
I would not for a moment think to leave trash on the beach it is unfathomable.
Hopefully just a one off event due to the massive run to the sun. Yesterday was very surreal with 35 degrees and thousands on the sand. It reminded me of Bondi a little.
I have to say also I seen a well off looking family get up and leave there fish and chip boxes on the grass. Bogans are not the only ones with a walk 100M to the bin syndrome.
Yep - I'm with you guys and can't understand for a second the logic that drives someone to head to a beautiful resource - polute it and fark off.. still expecting it to be beautiful when arriving next time!
And FFS if you can lug a fkn carton of beer down the beach, then the farken empties will be only a fraction of the weight to lug outta there.

No way could a copper or ranger have gone into that mess, dished out fines/arrests and not expected a kick in the head (or five). It would have ended in a riot for sure.
It's not up to coppers/rangers it's up to the public to pull there head outta their @rse really.
i drove past the beach about 1pm and as i was driving around the roundabout one kid was getting mobbed by about 5 others then everyone thought it was a good idea to join, about 20 were involved and thats all i saw. the pasty bogans that bring their culture to the beach dont deserve the right be at such a nice place
I was at a park in Joondalup last year where a group of " this same breed" started yelling abuse at a family and threatening them then started throwing bottles at them, I called the cops but I had a young family who started to cry with fear as we were getting the hell out of there. I was going to stick around before they turned on the next family.......not sure if the cops ever turned up would have been too late even if they did.
Still remains that this type of behavior should never be allowed......I say shot guns with rubber bullets no questions asked you behave like a dero don't expect to be asked any questions. Soon the fear of what happens with this type of behavior will stamp it out all together.
Gone of the days where you can go up to someone and say hey that's not on and they actually stop and think or actually feel embarrassed by their actions......

Last night around 8pm, I had to break up a bunch of 18 year old fighting IN the intersection of Scarborough Beach and West Coast Highway, yes on the road! Opposite BP.
Guys were spitting on girls- race related. Sick sad situation.
