Just a note to anyone new and anyone who's memory doesn't extend beyond yesterday.
Kiting north of Bay St (swimming enclosure) Brighton on Botany Bay is not, NOT, allowed. It is too close to the airport and the Water Police will fine you if caught.
I drive around the bay every afternoon on my way home from work. Yesterday, there was a foil in the air, up where the windsurfers go, owned by someone who should know better. If I see your kite in the air in the future I will call the Water Police. I have their phone number close at hand.
Do not stuff it up for the rest of us.![]()
If you know who it is you should kick in the side of their car and see how they like it when someone trashes their property. Who was it? Name and shame so we can boo them off the beach next time we see them. Hopefully with enough heckling they'll quit kiting and we can wait for the next moron to come along and try to wreck it for us.
It's a pretty obvious rule. When a plane is about to land on your head there's a good chance you're doing something wrong.
Here is state-wide link to the GO/NO-GO kiting zones throughout NSW.

Is there any way we can ban him from kiting? Or at least make the authorities aware that we dont want him kiting? Or is this something where we need to take matters into our own hands?
Ian used to have the best way of dealing with repeat offenders like this, you wait until they get to the beach and then cut their lines...
Oh no not another Sanz story. Get that bloke from Bryon Bay who has a pic from Summer Heights High as his avatar pic to sort him out. He'd love to have a crack id say
WTF!
We should give him a medal for getting out and up wind...
For anyone outside sydney: THERE'S HAS BEEN NO DAMN WIND FOR MONTHS!!!!
In fact this summer sucked... it was all good until Christmas when the BOM forecast severe fire danger... so it rained an then there was no more wind.
F*** ^%&& **** f****ng wind!
