Finally a very limited shipment of the new Spleene Zone 174 x 44 quad fin wave boards have arrived in Oz. The RRP will still be $1100 incl GST.

Contact me if you're interested - be quick - the last lot of Zones went very fast and many were disappointed.

Very interested in the new Zone... and the Speed 3 15m.

Oh hold on.............. dang! My inability to keep it in my pants and stop breeding has rendered my wallet as empty as the sydney wind this winter.

Enjoy the boards to those that get them. If they are as agile and tough as the old zone then they will be a winner!

Classic!

Furthermore, if anyone is upgrading from the old zone to the new zone, please sell me your old board cheaply...

I love the 2008 Spleene Zone Mike's got... it provide such a smooth ride through the chops, does not bounce like surfboards do, and does not spray in the face like TT do, I find it is a bit like the best of both world, wished I had one too...

I thought I had read somewhere that they had gone back to a tri fin setup?

Does it float like a surfboard or is it like a twin tip shaped like a surfboard?

it is TT-style of construction, thin and very light, and has the outline shape of a surfboard but does not have any volume.

G'Day Ian

The 2008 159 Zone is a GAS. Keen to try the bigger board and see what difference it makes.

Will you h ae a demo or your own in the back of the wagon??

Obey your Tribal Elder.

Yes I'll have it in the back of my 4WD - when I get it back from Andris - and when I get back from Bali 21-26 Aug ;-)

The photo that Spleene had on their website only showed three fins and at a glance it does look like a thruster - but all 2009 Zone are quad-fins.

The 1st shipment of Flysurfer Speed3 is due mid - late next month. Pre-orders are being accepted now with 20% deposit - deadine is 20 Aug for the 1st shipment, so get in quick if you want to reserve one of these unbeatable light-wind weapons!
