Just wondering on when the kite companies will start introducing the new 2010 range???
Have been kiting for a few years, but haven't taken any notice of when the new gear gets here.
A few brands do release kites for the Northern Hemisphere season. Best have the V2 Kahoona, and Bularoo and Slingshot have the new RPM and a beginner/intermediate kite as well as a new board, the Darko. No more screw plugs for footstraps..

There is two different launch seasons. One at the beginning of the Australian Season (around September) and the other is usually around now which is the same start of the season in the northern hemisphere.
About half of our brand models are new and the other half are 6-7 months old. So yes, there will be some stuff approaching discounted prices and others that are new and exciting and will be around for the next 12 months.
The best time to buy new gear, is when you feel your current gear is no longer filling your riding requirements, not just at the end of the year/season.
Hunt out the new stuff, there's some exciting stuff around.
