Looking at going to New Caledonia in early October for a honeymoon and was wondering whether to take my kiting gear. The future missus is cool with it, so that's good, but should I get my hopes up?
Any ideas of spots would be greatly appreciated. We'll be in noumea but I'm happy to travel.
Cheers

if in Nouméa book at the Chateau royal or méridien, both located on the kite beach.

No need to travel unless you're into wave riding

and october is windy !! depending on the date you could even do the bluscope downwind (from light house to anse vata kite vs windsurf)

Cheers mate.
I think the missus has us booked into the Meriden so that's a winner!

Good to hear about the wind! Thanks for the reply!!

Thanks again.

No worries, the Meridien was just refurbished this year and is very nice, so you should enjoy !

There's an aqua spa just next door at the chateau royal in case your wife gets bored of watching you and all the good looking froggies kiting !

The spot is quite packed with kiters on week ends but all in good spirit. Some kids over there have an incredible level.
Just check where you launch and sail as only the far east side of the beach is allowed (after the rocks)

pm me if any info needed (except from kite advice as I know nothing about it )
