I remember years ago you once asked me what I was using and how I was doing my work..
Sadly I miss those times, and see you have left me for dea and I am now at your feet asking for your help..
Ian you I hope you realise the caliber of your work. As this Video is what I call inspiring in every facet, as a rider, as a video shooter( very out of pratcise and average) and as a general person..
The sound track brilliatn and the way you've combined it all now up to my fifth watching and it only gets better I would like a full hd version to have on my computer to inspire me before I go out each day..
I will be singing this song next time I ride..
Cheers Dave
Damn Ian, that is so good.
I wish I could kite half as good as you edit and produce.
That shot of Warwick has almost inspired me to get a SUP.
Thanks everyone, for taking the time to comment, it's much appreciated. I almost forgot it was an internet forum for a moment - where's the sarcasm and nitpicking?
I just had 2 days of epic conditions here in Perth and your VIDEO capped off my day!!
One word "AWESOME"
Hey Ian, inspiring video, I really enjoyed it too.
For the technologically challanged, can someone help me find a way to make a copy of this for repeat viewing (or can Ian sell copies?)![]()
Also, as a West Coaster, what is the location- looks amazing for waves, not like Perth....
OMG that is absolutely brilliant! Makes me love living in Newcastle even more. Was a tad bit sad looking out and seeing today's gloomy weather but after watching the video, things have brightened up for me :)
Now..I just need to make a copy so I can pull it out at work when I need a smile.
Ordinarily I would say thanks for sharing.
But this time I will say "^^^^^ what they all said" ![]()
4:21 - dolphins in the wave - MAGIC!
what an awesome piece of work .. and so refreshingly non commercial .. and still better and touching the soul much more than many of the advertising videos.
I am blessed to live in such a great country and look at such great images.
well done!
regards
gmd
Wow. It seems like you do this for love, but I echo V's sentiments that any network interested in quality film-making should be serenading you with lucrative offers right now. Yes there are rewards other than money, rewards for which money is no substitute, but if this is your passion and you can get paid to do it too, then we the viewing public would be happy for that to happen I'm sure.
Where were the dolphins? That was an amazing few seconds. It would be nice if we could put a waterproof tele in there on a still day and play the whole vid for the dolphins. I wonder what they'd think?
No nitpicking because as far as short films about watersports (as in sports carried out on water before the hillarious jokes flow in) this one is as close to perfect as possible - as with many comments if you manage to get on a bigger project let us know!
Awesome Job
have watched it over & over
Your video goes with the song better than the machines original clip
Thank You; watched it a few times now ![]()
For me it encapsulates what it's all about.
BIG UPS to you for putting it all together.
Thanks again!!
