My wetsuit leaks at the neck, but otherwise fits really good. I've searched online and there don't seem to be many options to buy a neoprene neck seal suitable for kitesurfing wetsuits to fix the leak (I don't want to use a hood, and customisation of the suit is not practicla for me). So I want to make a custom neck neoprene neck seal to fill the gap. Where can I order online suitable neoprene material y the roll to do this, maybe 2inches wide and 3mm thick?

I've never had much luck buying neoprene. It's expensive and hard to get the material I want.

What I did do is buy a cheap hood from Amazon. It was easy to amputate the old hood, cut the new neck to fit, butt glue the edges of the new hood to the old neck, then hand blind stitch around the neck.

I use GearAid Neo glue, which is excellent.

Stitching is a simple over and over stitch passing just inside the neoprene and across the glued seam. Just do a heap of small stitches. It comes out really neatly because the stretch of the neoprene pulls down onto the glued seam. I have high tech sail making thread. Any old polyester thread will do.

I've used this technique to make several repairs where I cut out sections and sew in new pieces, using bits from old wetsuits. It looks extremely professionbal.

To do what you want, buy a smooth skin hood. Cut off the neck piece, adjust the fit for your neck. Glue it and sew it on.

In similar situation, bought stretchy thin neoprene, glued and stitched. I was allergic to contact adhesive I used and started tearing at stitching. Like Gorgo found best solution what to cut seal bit off a hood and put on over exisiting suit, didn't need glueing.
