just had a word with Neil, although he's still in a lot of pain after surgery, he is back doing his master craft. In fact he would welcome some work to keep his mind off the recovery pain.
For those in the kite community that don't live in WA - what happened to Neil ?? When is he going to be back on the water ??
lets just say he had what was equivalent to 3 different procedures on his heart, which invovled valves and all sorts. Serious bit of surgery. Hence he's hurting quite a bit in the post op recovery. But working on our kites he said keeps his mind off the pain.
we had 30 plus knts last week , 3 locals trashed some gear just for neil as a get well message
, apparently they replaced neils heart valves with a quick inflate valve system from a kite donor
So neil got a one pump system installed in his chest. I hope he paid Slingshot for the patent they have over it!
Good to hear he is in good health and back on the job, he does Very good work, I will kite a little harder now knowing he can patch me up

But I still hate you for selling me that two line Naish in 99, as the addiction has only cost me about 100k since then through equipment and travel
