How does Narrabeen go in NNW? Gusty? Smoothy? Nicey? Yucky?

nnw is offshore, check google maps, even a straight northerly is slightly off shore there

so who got caught out this arvy? Felt like it went from 20knots to dead still almost instantly....not cool.

There is a spot you can go in a NW if you don't mind walking out to the point and launching from a small beach. Cross on shore in a NW and often not to gusty.
