So my mate loses his board in a big surf at Long Reef..2 days later gets a call from someone who found it on the reef while walking. After years of not doing it and saying I would I finally put my name and mobile number on my boards. Did the obvious thing and used a permanent marker on the deck. Figured a label would just come off. Looks pretty ugly on new board!
There must be a better and neater way. Maybe a label and lacquer over the top??? Serious 3rd world problem I know . Anyone got a better way.
