I have been using the Naish Money Shot for a while now and love the board but not the straps. I have been having big problems with the board slipping off of my feet because the pads don't grip very well. I tried all of the tricks to try and get the board to stick but am finally coming to the conclusion that boots are a good option. I am also looking to see whether boots will make the board perform better as well. All comments welcome.
The board is pretty flat (and small?) for boots but you might as well give it a try. Upgrading would be best though.
The money shot was the premium Naish freestyle board that year, It has rails so you can go Fin- less and is thick so good for sliders. would work for boots.

I think you meant channels there bud, most boards have rails these days.. ![]()
You can put boots on any board although as mentioned above you won't get the most out of it as the board doesn't have enough rocker and was built for straps, wouldn't trust it on obstacles either.
Buy a good pair of boots, see if you like the feeling, invest in a proper board built for boots and then never look back!
Thanks for the info guys!! Will give the money shot a go with boots and if it doesn't work out then i will sell it and get a proper wakestyle board. i am just hesitant to spend the money on a new board at the moment as I am saving up for a new kite.
Hey Mate,
I was in the same situation as you with my feet always coming out of the straps. I brought a pair of boots and thought I would give them a go on the moneyshot because I like the board. They seem to be working fine and i get similar performance from the board as I did with the straps without my feet coming out. If you?re aspiring to be Aaron Hadlow and need the absolute best performance from your gear than there is probably better options but if you are someone who kites for fun, experiments with a bit of freestyle etc. than I?m sure it will be fine.
