Yep so my valves are coming off my Naish bladders. Just had a look around online and can't seem to find any U-stick option for just the female vales on their own?

Do I have to buy a whole new bladder?
Bugger!

Thought I was getting it a bargain last week when I bought it so cheap off a guy I felt really bad for him! Ah well, got one awesome session out of it before she went limp on me, arr

PS Sorry to start another Naish valves thread, I did a search, but couldnt find any answers to the question I want answered!

looks like a bastard to repair, i dont have hands on experience doing this but thinking you may have to cut the long side seam close to edge, invert, glue and reseal long seam. it will slighty reduce diameter of strut but should still be ok

did you check the other struts for de lam?

the 2012 torches are really awesome kites, worth the effort

Gah, don't know what I was typing into the google machine earlier, but have now stumbled across this:

Anybody had a go at installing them, any tricks I need to know so I dont screw it up?

Get it right first go ..aint no second chances. Get it clean and keep your bladder flat and smooth as you stick it on

It looks like the female part adheres to the outside of the bladder, rather than internally like the original valve is....? Yeah?

Should make things a bit more straight forward.

I was trying to figure out how I would unpeel the paper, then fit the valve through, then try and adhere it to the inside of the bladder... but Im guessing I dont need to worry about that by the looks of it

Yes. They originally made them to stick on the inside but it was extremely difficult to do.
Now they stick on the outside and as of last month you can buy just the female part if you don't want a pair.

Thanks Briskites - I saw them on your website last night, and thought I should order up a few.

First I'll check to see if the guy down the road has them for as good of a price as you, then Ill do a check over the kite and make an see how many I think I'm gonna need.

Might be in touch soon!
