Yep - Summer and daylight saving are around the corner , and our classic Season Opener is returning this year to the windier south!
The New South Wales NSW Kiteboarding Association is inviting you to Kurnell Beach on Saturday 18th October for:
- BBQ for members
- Fresh 2015 demo kites & boards by the local shops
- Free gear check to help you get back on the water safely
- Trainer kites for beginners
- Big air competition with prizes for all!
If the wind decides to bail on us we will have SUPs and volleyball and other fun things to keep everyone entertained.
This is a great opportunity to bring your family along to show them your passion, or that friend who keeps saying he wants to get into kiting!
Hope to see you all there to celebrate the start of another exciting summer of kiting in Sydney and around the state!

PS: If you'd like to organise a similar event at your local spot please get in touch and we'll gladly help you make it happen!
PS2: Yes this was posted on purpose in the WA General forum because many (including myself) don't check the NSW forum often ![]()
Looking forward to this Saturday's event... pity forecast wind doesn't want to co-operate.
Maybe a foil will win the big air competition?!![]()
Good to see some NSW banter in the General forum section... ha!
