Hello all,
I am planning a quick road trip from Brisbane to Sydney early in the New Year. Can anyone recommend any good spots for kiting and surfing between Lennox and Sydney? Would love to ride at some new spots.

That whole coast has some of the best beaches.. But a couple of must stop places IMO.. The stretch between Lennox and Balina then Yamba. Stop in at South west rocks for a kite if the swell is up.. Then Crescent Head and check out the beaches there.. Seal rocks has some great surf beaches ( Treachery ). I could go on for hours.. there is so many great spots you will not be disappointed.. especially if your coming from Brisbane
The bay between Big Hill & Point Plomer in a NE'r is an ideal downwinder for flat-lovers or wave junkies. If you wanna escape the wave zone go further out. Fun waves all along the shore.
All North Beach from Plomer south is suitable for kiting. There's some fun shoreys or can go out the back and FLY LIKE THE WIND on a downwinder back to Port Macquarie.
If you come to any of the spots near Port PM me and we might be able to offer a lift (or vice versa hehe) or at least some kiting companions
