Here's a video I made of the highlights from the first 3 days of snow kiting this season. It's been so good this year, I've had 6 awesome days so far and it still early days for the kiting season.
So far we've had almost 2 metres of snow in the back country this winter and every snow fall has have gale force winds. This has resulted in huge cornices to play on everywhere .
The next couple of months are going to be sick!!!

what size kites r u using and what wind speed ? Looks a bit deceiving ?
Hi farNT. I'm using a 9m Ozone Frenzy and a 13m Ozone Edge, the wind in the video ranges from 20-50 km/h

Have you tried a snowboard? Easier? Harder? Is it more similar to kitesurfing?

Hi Daniel. I used a snowboard for the first time today and it was awesome. Its very similar to kitesurfing if you use the right board.

Look like really good fun. This snow cam looks towards Mt Kosciusko from the top of Thredbo, and I was wondering if this is where you start from?

Hi coastflyer, I think that camera is from Guthega at Perisher. We launch from Thredbo, if you would like more info theres a FB group called Kosi Kiters that we all use to find other snow kiters
