Takedowns from youtube and vimeo are suuuper annoying with (c) song track recognition...

pic i shot of a super fun swell somewhere before i returned to kiwiland last year > > i stop posting pics the second people bang on about i know where this is - of course u do - we know you are clever!
I listened to a few of those tunes and they're great... nice one.
I try to make stuff like that with my Electribe, but I don't have the time or patience to structure songs properly so I just end up making loops and then jamming.
What do you use?
I use Live and sylenth plugin very little else - i have use soooo many different pieces of kit over the years (plugins + used to collect old roland and korg) but it all got too much so i went back to minimal reliable computer based setup (sylenth never crashes!).. - you chuck together your loops ideas - but then you record the sequence of your loops and you can change and record any parameter while recording - super quick (the time to sequence the song is teh songs length!) - i quickly sequence almost everything i ever do into a track and save it - other wise it gets lost forever... i go back and then can quickly audition the saved files and a few days later know if they go in the bin or i work on them again.
its a love hate relationship, i do not like sitting in front of a screen any more time than i need to - but it is addictive, if its windy or decent surf no music is ever made!
i say to some friends - do not get into it! - you end up with skills that are pretty much obsolete for everything else in life and lose a lot of time, and as music gets easier to make - the skills required degrade - having said that a good tune is a good tune whatever.. it is fun... to a level! lol
that is some kit above!
